This one was another easy one for me, as I quite often bake for my co-workers. Usually, I bake for my own team or for special morning teas like retirements & long service acknowledgments. But with half the team dieting/being on challenges at the moment, I didn’t want to do this for them right now. But an opportunity presented itself when I was asked if I would make my famous cupcakes (at least famous around my depot), for a birthday morning tea for a co-worker outside my team, the lovely Diana. Happy Birthday for the 9th of Feb Diana! I am fortunate to work with some amazing people in and outside my own team. I hope Diana and the other lovely ladies enjoyed my cupcakes!
Baking cupcakes always remind me of the time Jill sent me cupcakes that she organised for me from Tanzania. After being made permanent in my job after a long four years of worry, stress and uncertainty, Jill, knowing my struggles, and knowing how important it was to me, sent me the beautiful cupcakes below. She was such a thoughtful friend and getting these truly made my day.
