So I bought a dairy goat...let me explain.
I love how Tessa and Anna both bought something for a stranger in different ways, Tessa gifting something to a vision impaired girl via an Amazon registry and Anna to a new Mum via someone she follows on instagram who had a wish list. It just highlights how many different ways and channels there are out there to help people in need.
So following their lead, I did some googling and came across https://www.childfund.org.au where you can buy 'gifts for good'. ChildFund Australia is an independent international development organisation that works to reduce poverty for children in many of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.
After reviewing the catalogue of gifts, I decided on the dairy goat. It's amazing to read what one little goat can do for a family and really makes you appreciate the country we live in and the life we have. Jill being a teacher in Africa, I'm sure she would of appreciated that this goat could potentially pay for a child's school fees.
