I tried to do this on two seperate occasions earlier on in the year. But between North Queensland weather, and my ability to remember to water plants, I failed both times to make anything grow. Realising I was running out of time, I picked up a grass hair kit and a sunflower kit from Bunnings.
So I know the grass hair kit is a little bit of a cop out, but hey it's still from seeds! Plus it was in this adorable ladybug pot, so was meant to be. Only took a couple of days to sprout up too!
I also noticed the same day this sprouted that my Peace Lily that Jill gave me also was in bloom.
My sunflower has one seed come through also, but nothing yet to brag about. But again, still counts!
